What we have done and tested

• ✓Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring on each interactive element. The ring measures 5.75 against the page, above the 3:1 the standard asks for.
• ✓The gallery popup is a proper dialog: focus moves into it, Escape closes it, and it cannot trap you.
• ✓The cookie banner does not trap focus, so you can go and read the privacy policy before deciding.
• ✓All text meets WCAG AA contrast. We measured every text element on thirteen pages at three screen widths and fixed thirty failures.
• ✓Every image has descriptive alt text naming the character and the view.
• ✓Headings run in order with no skipped levels, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
• ✓Every form field has a real label.
• ✓Product photographs are contained rather than cropped, so no part of an item is cut off.
• ✓Animation respects prefers-reduced-motion.
• ✓Every control is at least 24 by 24 pixels, except links inline in a sentence, which the standard exempts.
• ✓The site works down to 320 pixels wide with no horizontal scrolling.

Where we fall short

We would rather tell you than let you find out.

• •We have not tested with a real screen reader. Our testing is automated measurement plus manual keyboard checks, which is not the same thing as hearing the page read aloud.
• •We have not run a color-blindness simulation.
• •We checked reflow by narrowing the window rather than by using browser zoom to 200 percent.
• •Video content, if we add any, will need captions. We have none yet.
